BARISTA CONNECT, Women´s Coffee Event, Returns!!!
After the success of last year, the preparation for “Barista Connect – Women´s Coffee Event in London” is full on.
The interest in the first edition was overwhelming. Women from all over the world came together (10 different nationalities) to listen to esteemed guest speakers such as Sonja Björk Grant from SCAE, Ansgar Bitz from Mahlkönig, Jesper Broberg Bang Olesen from Gejst/Studio and many more.
Overall it was a fantastic weekend filled with talented and passionate people sharing their knowledge, inspiring each other and building new friendships.
“Barista Connect – London” will take place over the course of 3 days at two amazing venues in London, Prufrock Coffee and Square Mile Coffee from 9 – 11 September 2016.
This year’s edition will have another exciting line-up of fantastic speakers, including Anne Lunell, Anette Moldvaer, Maxwell Collonna-Dashwood and many others.
The program will be focused on practical sessions and lectures around sensory elements and competitions.
Other features will be a forum discussion about “ Barista…Than What?”, about what is a possible career path after working as a barista.
And ending the event will be an open discussion on “Gender equality within the coffee industry”, one of the more highlighted subjects worldwide at the moment.
